TODAY is National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day. The Day provides space for kids to feel proud and an opportunity for all Australians to celebrate our kids, and consider the impact that community, culture and family play in the life of every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child.
This year’s theme “My Dreaming, My Future” celebrates First Nations kids being born into stories of their family, culture, and Country. They carry with them the songlines of their ancestors and culture, passed down by generations.
