We want to congratulate Alkira on her nomination of Arts and Culture Achievement Award, and Lockie and Noelz for their nomination of the Aunty Grace Roberts Community Development Award.
Aunty Grace Roberts was a Bundjalung Women who moved to Coffs Harbour. In her time in Coffs Harbour she made a significant impact for the Local Aboriginal People. She was apart of the Wongala Housing Company, advocated for many community and overall improved the quality of life of aboriginal people in the Coffs Harbour area.
These awards are to highlight those who like Aunty Grace demonstrates outstanding commitment to the Local Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal People.
