If you missed last nightβs The Goori Guuyu Show, you missed a great one with young Kamilaroi jaanybarr Jace Driver. Jace yarned about his love for rugby league (playing for the Sawtell Panthers this year), Moree (especially the hot spring baths), family (mum/dad, siblings (bro Alaster works at BMNAC), an Uncle that was from Moree, Grandfather Towney, heaps of cousins and other aunts/uncles), his mates (one of them Keith Dungay (who was on a previous showβπΎ) and who incidentally was in the room when we went to air – you might catch him in the first photoπ€¦π½ββοΈπ), North Queensland Cowboys, school (particularly Aboriginal Studies – he did heaps good!ππΎ) and working at BMNAC (enjoyed the recent Sydney training trip cooking up a storm!). Jace is a great young man who recognises the importance of leadership in our community, particularly for young people. Jace has a great future ahead of him!
